Chef Ma beats this place on certain dry noodles and their sliced chili beef. It wouldn't stand out in Asia or even NYC or SoCal but it's A-OK for the area. The places I've been to that are better have a more subtle quality to their great flavors, but still QQ Noodle is a fairly unique chain/offering for the Bay Area.

The food is mainly good, but the flavors tend to be on the heavy handed side, ie: the spicy noodle was overwhelmingly spicy and the dry soy sauce noodles were overwhelmingly salty at first taste. Overall, I can't help but love the food, the layout and the very nice picture menus. $4.99ĭry Soy Bean Sauce Noodles - Great hand pulled noodles, although the soy bean sauce is quite salty and should be used in small quantities as the waiter recommended. The flavor of the meat is good, although not as great as ones I've had in Vancouver and NYC. If you want some great food, make sure to give us a try. Rouburger - a very popular snack item and filled with minced lamb meat inside a Chinese bun. Here at QQ Noodles, we strive to have the most welcoming environment. Noodles are hand pulled though thinner type than the coarse, thick noodles I like. Once that wears off, the previously watery broth's flavor comes through and is quite good. The spice is actually quite strong and slightly numbing. Spicy Beef Stew Noodle Soup - I actually like dry noodles but beef noodle soup is a famous Taiwanese dish. Not as good as Chef Ma but about as enjoyable. The beef slices were a touch cold and firm, but still very good.

Very tasty and really enjoyed the hot chili oil sauce on top. I'm guessing no one's Yelping to keep the out of way location secret.
